The IPEBLA Teleconference Committee has assembled an expert panel of speakers who will address the topic, "Using offshore trusts in relation to employee benefit plans".

This Teleconference considers the role that off-shore trusts can play in relation to employee benefit plans, including pension and share plans.  What motivates the use of offshore trusts, and what sort of vehicles are available?  What are the pros and cons for employees and employers, and what key issues arise?

The teleconference will run for 90 minutes altogether, which will include up to 20 minutes for questions and comments from delegates.

For those not familiar with the format of a teleconference, it is a bit like listening to a radio programme on the topic in question. The expert panel will discuss the chosen topic. Those who have signed up for the teleconference receive details of the dial-in number and PIN code for the teleconference and copies of the slides or other materials to which the speakers will be talking. You will receive an electronic confirmation with dial-in instructions for the call once you have registered.  The confirmation includes the dial-in telephone number, the website address with the PowerPoint presentation and the pass code to enter the site. For those joining the live discussion, you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.  For those joining the replay, you will hear the replay and the question and answer session.
